Our newly turned four year old filly, Funny How, kicked off our 2023 in spectacular fashion as she continued her winning ways today at The Big A. The filly was expertly ridden by jockey Katie Davis and got up in the final strides to prevail by a nose in the Open Allowance.
That’s her fourth straight win and once again, she did it the right way, settling nicely down on the rail, splitting horses and coming with with a sustained run up the rail. This win pushes the filly’s earnings to over $200,000 in only six starts (she's never run off the board).
With this performance under her belt, it’s time to try stakes company and if all goes well we will target the Broadway Stakes on Sunday February 12th.
