Funny How made it 5x wins in a row (all climbing the class ladder) when she took her first stakes race on Sunday at The Big A (the $100K Broadway for older fillies and mares going 7f on the dirt).
Despite breaking last, Funny How settled nicely for jockey Katie Davis and ultimately rallied three-wide to win going away from a field of more experienced and accomplished stakes rivals. The final margin of victory was 4 1/4-lengths under a hand ride.
Funny How will most likely next target the Grade 3 Distaff Handicap on April 7th.
