Gem Mint Ten has always hinted at having a good amount of ability but had disappointed in his first two starts (on dirt) and so it was great to see that with a switch to turf, and with blinkers going on, that he was able to run to that ability in his 3rd lifetime start.
Gem bested a field of NYB MSW rivals going 6 furlongs on the lawn and earned a career high 70 beyer speed figure in the process. The future is bright for this 3-year-old colt!
