After refusing the break, in what was technically her first career start at Saratoga last month, Mispelled Mooon bounced back strongly with a solid 2nd place finish in a 2 year old filly maiden special weight race at the Meadowlands last night. She broke a step slow but made a strong middle move and closed strongly to finish a fast closing 2nd to a well bred Shadwell Stable homebred.
We'll hope to get one more start in NY before the grass season ends and then point her for a winter campaign at a track that offers turf of synthetic surface racing.
