The colt is a physical specimen who worked extremely well at the sale. He worked 1-furlong in 10 secs flat with a 2-furlong gallop out time of 20.3 and a 3-furlong gallop out time of 32.4 (all very impressive numbers when compared to his company). His stride length was also in the top quartile of the sale coming in at 25.7 feet. He has continued to look the part in his breezes and has a pedigree to back it up.
The colt is out of a young Curlin dam who has produced one foal so far, a 3-year-old colt named Real Macho. Real Macho broke his maiden in his 2nd career start in a MSW at Gulfstream. He subsequently won a loaded N1X at that same track, where he bested the highly touted Pletcher trainee - Born Noble and earned an 87 beyer speed figure in the process. Real Macho then ran 4th on the G2 Fountain of Youth to eventual Belmont Stakes winner Dornoch and was last seen running 4th in the Sir Barton stakes on the Preakness Day undercard.
Lastly, the horse is PERFECTLY named…This son of “Dialed In” out of the dam “Hedonism” is now named - One Nine Hundred! Kudos to Steven on that!
As mentioned above this colt will be trained by Tom Morley who is one of the best young trainers in the game. Tom is a conditioner whom Adelphi currently employs and enjoys a good relationship with.
